Like all of our boards it is handmade and we were fortunate enough to be able to capture both the white sap wood and the unique feathered grain pattern when making it. The wood has been sanded to a smooth 600 grit and finished with our own wood conditioner (Big Dogs Board Butter) giving it a smooth and silky finish and like all of our wood products this piece has been kiln dried assuring that the wood is stable
